Setting up Direct Debit

WELCOME TO PAYING BY DIRECT DEBIT

There are various payment methods open to you, including paying by Direct Debit. If you wish to pay by Direct Debit we will need you to provide us with details of your Bank Account.

If you have chosen to set up a Direct Debit then we need to carry out a number of checks.

Please can you confirm that you hold a UK Bank/ Building Society Account and you are the Account Holder?

Please can you confirm that you are the only person to authorise debits from this Account?

If you have answered “NO” to either of these questions you will need to complete a Direct Debit Instruction and return it via email. You will need to download the form using the button below and complete it digitally.

Once completed, please save it, and email a copy to payments@valdaenergy.com along with your account ID and the email address associated with your account. We will then contact you via email to confirm your Direct Debit has been set up.

Direct Debit Guarantee

The Direct Debit Scheme is protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee. Here is a copy for your records:

THE DIRECT DEBIT GUARANTEE

  • The Guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that accept instructions to pay Direct Debits.
  • If there are any changes to the amount, date or frequency of your Direct Debit Valda Energy Limited will notify you 5 working days in advance of your account being debited or otherwise agreed. If your request Valda Energy Limited to collect a payment, confirmation of the amount and date will be given to you at the time of request.
  • If an error is made in the payment of your Direct Debit, by Valda Energy Limited or your bank or building society, you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of the amount paid from your bank of building society. - If you receive a refund you are not entitled to, you must pay it back when Valda Energy Limited asks you to.
  • You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by simply contacting your bank or building society. Written confirmation may be required. Please also notify us.
